The planet Jagar is the second in a star system bearing the same name, and the only planet of sufficient mass to reliably use for any purpose. Unfortunately, the planet is entirely uninhabitable for long, as its methane-based atmosphere is toxic to most sentient species, and the majority of its surface is covered in lava plains and dotted with volcanoes and deep fissures that lead to the planet's core.
A dense asteroid field surrounds the volcanic planet, leading many Terran scientists to speculate that other planets may have existed in the Jagar system.
